- How much notice do you require for scheduling?
Scheduling varies depending on the time of the year. We prefer to schedule most cleanings within 7-10 days. However, we know that emergencies can occur, and we are able to accommodate those situations. Call (513) 549-2099 to schedule now!!
- How long will it take to clean my carpet?
Each job is unique and that depends on the level of soil, furniture, and even weather can play a big part in the time process. We can give a great estimate at the time of quote and cleaning.
- How long before I can walk on my freshly cleaned carpet?
We recommend that everyone should stay off the carpet as much as possible for 6-8 hours. If that is not possible, make sure to show caution as you walk. Once you walk on the carpet that has been cleaned your shoes will be wet, and could cause a hazardous situation when you walk on a dry hard surface floor.
- Is there any kind of warranty or guarantee on your work?
Yes. We guarantee that you will be happy with our cleaning, or we will come back and touch it up at no cost to you.
- Are you insured?
We are insured. We carry 2 million as well as workers compensation. Workers Compensation, Liability Insurance forms, and other compliance information is available upon request.
- What process do you use in cleaning my carpet?
We have both HWE (hot water extraction) and low moisture (often referred to as Dry Cleaning). We typically use HWE for initial cleaning and 1-2 times per year. The low moisture cleaning method is an excellent method to maintain acceptable cleanliness levels in between hot water extractions.
- How long will it take for my carpet to dry?
This depends on the method being used. The low moisture method is often dry within an hour. Hot water extraction is often dry in 6-8 hours depending on the HVAC, moisture in the space and the weather outside.
- Will cleaning my carpet cause it to get dirty faster?
If cleaned properly by a cleaning company such as Fresh Floors, it will not resoil more quickly. This myth comes from cleaners not properly rinsing the carpet of detergent residue, thus creating a sticky surface allowing all carpet fibers to attract more soil.
- What standards do Fresh Floors adhere to when cleaning my floors?
We follow the IICRC guidelines as well as CHAT
Cleaning Agent (we use only the best)
Heat (the water gets up to 240 degrees!)
Agitation (Everything gets cleaner when “elbow grease” is applied)
Time (allowing the proper dwell time for cleaning agents is imperative to reaching the desired cleanliness)
